Most Overrated Korean Actor/Actress

Honestly, I think Lee Min Ho, Song Hye Kyo, and Cha Eun Woo are some of the most overrated actors in K-dramas. Their popularity is undeniable, but when it comes to actual acting skills, I don’t see much depth.

Lee Min Ho has been playing the same rich, aloof character since Boys Over Flowers. He’s got the looks and screen presence, but his acting feels repetitive, and his emotional range is pretty limited. Song Hye Kyo, despite being a top-tier actress, has always felt incredibly stiff and wooden to me. Her expressions rarely change, and her line delivery often lacks natural emotion. Even in emotional scenes, she comes off as flat rather than engaging. That being said, I did like her in The Glory—probably one of her better performances.

When he won the 2023 SBS Best actor award, I was astonished. Compare him to the competition, including Han Suk Kyu.

Byeon Woo Seok 

I can see why people like him, from SGNS I wasn't sure what the hype was about so I guess I need to watch Lovely Runner some time.

Are you me? Literally every dude on the list is overrated af to me. Thank God I don't have to see much song kang, ahn hyp seop or rowoon much these days. But have to put up with cws and bws (who just played himself in LR). Neither are lead material.
