His first stage play right after heading back to his homeland. Synopsis is unknown (on researching)
2012Nanjawans (난자완스)
A rom-com short film about a wannabe liaison chef, Bom; experimenting a Chinese-Korean cuisine: meatballs! For that, she needs someone as a judge to invite over, coincidentally: her birthday; so she asked her crush aka senior, Seok, to give a little taste as her only chance. But the realistic incident and consequence took over that changed both lives...

this short film alone granted him the Best Actor (Short Film Category) award from Toronto Korean Film Festival  
2013Contact Point (접점)
The 2nd mature short film tells of Sunwoo (dental hygienist) receiving a phone call from a married ex-girlfriend. He decides to see her at their old hangout and finds himself succumbing to her sexual advances despite his better judgment
2014Slight Fever (미열)
This 3rd drama short film retells a guy named Hyunho. While working as a pizza delivery man, he's planning for his own business. He stumbles across his former sweetheart, Jeongmin, one day while delivering pizza to a karaoke bar

Ever since the release of the short film, several film festivals have love letters to make this into a wonderful screening; including this year's 24th Jeonju International Film Festival; under the category of The People at That Time: The Great Actor's Early Works 
Love is Burning (사랑이 불탄다)
The little indie stage play comeback consists of two people, who stupidly fall in love after a breakup. Adapted from Sam Shepard's Fool for Love 

He rewrote the play itself, as the only stage writer (scriptwriter)

from that point onwards, one of the crews who watched it, suggested for getting auditioned, hence recruited for the sequel of Sense8

Origin of MVF Club

Long story short, Rien suggested it for me since I've been SSK spammer/news informer on Global Feed everytime (undeniable tho, welp). Originally, wanna put as Modern Artsy Fox; but then Artsy is informal slang, so replaced it with the current I utilize now, which perfectly describe him for being experimental to relevant interests he's passionate onto

When did you first discover him?

it was his cameo in Jirisan, i believe! ignoring the fact that i was too busy shipping the main leads after seeing him i could understand why Yi Kang would have had a crush on him in her younger days, sksksksk (i fully support having the Jirisan gifs as the opening features, btw)

What makes you become his fan?

i'd have to say it's his personality—he's such a sweetheart both behind-the-scenes for the dramas he's a part of and in real life, plus (imo) he's extremely underrated

How many dramas/movies/web series of him have you watched?

just one for now, bc tbh i had started watching D.P, got distracted after the third episode and pretty much forgot the entire plot after that—do plan to rectify that during the holiday months, however, bc both D.P and MLN (My Liberation Notes) have been bumped up my ptw list after the masterpiece that was My Mister from the latter's screenwriter

Which of these mediums is/are your favorite about him?

since i've only seen him in dramas (and some modeling shoots, but that doesn't count on MDL) ig i'm partial to them! he gets more screentime if he's the main lead in a drama too, usually, so that's even better

Which of these upcoming mediums of him is/are you looking forward the most?

Murder DIEary—the cast setup for this is superb and i have no doubt that he'll knock it out of the park with his role here

Since it has officially opened and I haven't answered the requirement as of yet, why don't I try to take up this challenge instead? Here goes nothing ^_^"

When did you first discover him?
Unfortunately, I was not recognized him thru Jirisan last year (binge-watched two at a time, per week. The good ol' days) since I was invested in its storyline for the leads and the involved ones, neither the side roles one (him also, which damned myself hard). There I thought of him being married irl (from the story, assumed like that as well)

Then, there goes My Liberation Notes. Him, an alcoholic as his only cope to live his mundane life; and then when the night ensued, before asking to be worshipped; looking at him to seek alternatives rather than being drunk at all times, not showing his vulnerable, fragile side... that's when I start to fall for him. And others went through history


What makes you become his fan?
That's a trick yet thoughtful question, coming from myself. And it's unexpected, suffice to say: his ordinary, yet intricate acting of him. Yes, his actions and acts may look usual; but he made it detailed: gestures, body language, dialogues, and so forth. Unconsciously... I adore him, just like that

He deserves every single thing he's done throughout, for 12 years of his career. You've done well, Mr. Son


How many dramas/movies/web series of him have you watched?
Luckily yet coincidentally, straight after watching MLN; I have some time to research him further; so for now I've watched 4 dramas (1 web series, 3 general ones), 3 movies (1 web movie, 2 usual movies), and lastly, his directorial debut short film :D


Which of these mediums is/are your favorite about him?
This one is pretty much random to state. Not usual, typical romcom ones; I'd rather say: Designated Survivor 60 Days. That one leaves a huge impact on me who dislikes politics in reality: give some insights and analysis on how to avert the national crisis in not also major, but littlest problems to resolve. Him, to memorize a whole damned lot of dialogues to portray what an expert of (Political) Social Science alumni to apply in the workplace looks like, *huge chef kiss*

He, himself; made me have trust issues to comply by hearing his advice, professionally. He can already read (picture) all situations given aside himself, just only for one true intent: saving the temporary President. Then, when I found the reasonings along the way, it was truly a great decision to not fired him on the spot, because he knows everything really well


Which of these upcoming mediums of him is/are you looking forward to the most?
Surprisingly, 4 of them! Casino of course not to be missed for the next 2 months; then Murder DIEary (truly hope that there are English dialogues as well between the leads cuz it can be one or another: hilarious or psyched); sequel of D.P. as well, as usual; and lastly, I really hope he accepts Commentary Squad (or Troll Squad) to be cast; because the storyline itself is so enthusiastic and out-of-the-box


Why would you decide to be a Modern Visionary Fox Club member?
Cuz I'm the leader, without me; this club does not even exist in the first place. What else tho?
