Am curious about everyone's tastes in dramas and would love to find new shows to watch !

Please state the title and include your reasons why you would recommend this show !

If you can't pick one, you can recommend several, I'm indecisive as well 😂

Not a new drama but, "Goblin" is one drama that I can always recommend. Aside from compelling storyline, (unique story concept)  the  beautiful cinematography makes it a re-watchable classic. The central romance is both heartwarming and tragic. It has beautiful OST and memorable scenes. It explores themes of love, loss, sacrifice, and the nature of immortality

Hotelier (all-time favorite romance drama, may be my first K-drama, of which from then on I rewatch multiple times-lost the count-)

Move to Heaven (deep and meaningful)

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call (a fun one)

goblin is my all time favorite, so that’s two votes for it.

Crash landing on you, because it is a fun romance with the village effect, group of people around the main leads. The actors are amazing and the music as well

as a group : hospital playlist, resident playbook and prison playbook.  It’s very humane, it’s more about the characters than the case. I can’t recommend the reply series from the same, team because I never got into it but you can do a bingo game with the cameos if you start with the reply series.

penthouse because it is absolutely bonkers

hwarang because it is si,l’y and has the best group of flower boys

Korean odyssey, it’s one of the first k dramas I’ve watched and I still rewatch it from’time to time. The bromance between the monkey and the ox is so endearing.

Just Between Lovers because it's my favorite. It's very well acted, poignant, and probably the most realistic exploration of trauma and healing I've seen.

Tomorrow

While Rowoon plays the main character, it's everyone else that you want to focus on. The backstories are absolutely incredible, and there's just enough whimsy in there to not make you super depressed, despite the inherently dark plot (they're grim reapers who stop people from ending their own lives instead of bringing them to the afterlife). It was only the second Kdrama I'd ever watched, and while it's been well over a year since then, it still holds its place as my current favorite asian drama ever.

Weak Hero (Class 1 & Class 2)

A true MASTERPIECE. You will never see Park Jihoon the same after his role as Sieun.  Since it's short (16 episodes over 2 seasons) I tell people they literally have no excuse not to watch it. While some of the actors seem too old to play their characters, trust me in that you will forget about it once this show rips your heart out. Note: watch this alone or with only friends you trust enough to see you ugly cry.

20th Century Girl

This is a movie, but it's too good to not recommend. Another one to watch if you're prepared to cry. I watched this with my best friend around the time it came out in 2022, back before I ever watched Kdramas or was even into Kpop. And my God, it is beautiful. Definitely a must-watch for any romance lovers.

"Hotelier" is an incredibly dated drama from a dozen years ago but,  I love "Hotelier" so much. I love Bae Yong Joon. He's the reason I watched this show... He mesmerizes you with that deep voice, he takes you into his private landscape of deep emotions with just one look, he's sensitive and tender, he's seriously BUILT, his skin rivals that of Kim Tae Hee or Song Hye Kyo and he's very, very masculine. He's so unforgettable, so magnetic and charismatic that when he appears on the screen, your eyes look at no one else.
