I’m trying to identify a Korean drama I watched years ago, probably around 2013–2017, although I think the drama itself may have been released earlier (possibly 2007–2015).
I’ve searched for many years and haven’t been able to find anything that matches.
What I remember:
Romance / melodrama.
There is an overweight man (genuinely obese, around 100kg+), with curly/permed hair and an underdog or “loser” appearance.
The female lead is considered beautiful.
The overweight man is kind, selfless, and deeply cares about her.
I vaguely remember a poster featuring the overweight man, possibly wearing a pink hoodie.
I think the drama was around 16 episodes long.
The scene I remember most clearly:
The woman and the overweight man meet at a noodle/ramyeon restaurant. They either break up or part ways emotionally (I’m not completely sure whether he was her boyfriend, best friend, or someone secretly in love with her).
Afterward, the overweight man somehow meets a more handsome man who later goes on a date with the woman.
During the date, the handsome man knows exactly how she likes her noodles. She immediately realizes that only the overweight man could have told him those details.
She runs outside, finds the overweight man waiting alone on the street, and they hug while crying.
A few details may be inaccurate because it’s been many years, but that noodle scene and reunion are the parts I remember most vividly.
