No actually, this reminds me of You're Beautiful. You're Beautiful is older, and a lot of the things they use here are from You're Beautiful. You're Beautiful didn't remind me of Hana Kimi at all, Hana Kimi is a lot funnier and less cute.


Anyway, this is my new wallpaper, I just made it and I love it :D

i think in terms of the manga world, it is alot easier in drawing then actuallly made out in a drama. THere are some things that works in manga but just wont do in a live action. I found most remake of a manga usually take the general plot and twist it so it fits better/makes more sense as a live action. Also in terms of drama the amount of money spent on production is far greater than the manga, and there is just so much in the manga that it wont fit into the drama

I think so too, a drama can't be exactly like its manga. For example, I didn't like the Skip Beat drama because it was so much like the manga that sometimes it was really dumb. SB is my favorite manga, but seeing that in live action.... yeah, it doesn't always work

I get that, but they did it with the Japanese live actions. I mean, the dorm rivalry and the ghost boy. They were things that they could've added to TTBY without making it too stupid. Like, dial it down a bit, but still have it there. They did try it in the early episodes (the rivalry), but then just gave up. With TTBY, i feel like hardly anything actually happens, because it's all focused on the main 3. I wanted more of the school and the other characters. If they have the same ending that they did in the Japanese ones, with everyone saying goodbye to her, it's going to be ridiculous because she never spends any time with anyone other than Taejoon and Eungyul so why would the rest of them even care that she's leaving?

Yes, you're right, it doesn't resemble at all to the other versions. I try to deal with this version as a completely different drama, and I love it like that.

But now, getting to eat, I know it's going to look really awful but: OH MY FREAKING GOSSSSHHHHHHHHHH!!!! episode 15!!!! I really can't get over it!!! and the freaking preview!!!!!

I loved this drama!! It made me giddy and happy and it made me smile like an idiot the whole time! BUT......... that ending........ it could've been better. Sulli didn't act quite well on that last scene, it looked forced and unnatural

I wasn’t a fan of Hana Kimi & had high expectations of the Korean version but I am sadly disappointed.

** At least in Hana Kimi the girl had a feasible reason for wanting to come to the school (she felt responsible for causing Oguri Shun to get injured whilst rescuing her from muggers in USA) so she comes to his school in Japan to help him get back into athletics….This part of the story was omitted from the Korean version, so there was no real reason for Jae Hee to come to Korea other than she had a schoolgirl crush on Tae Joon, this was a totally lame and flawed concept. If that was the case most school girls would track down their idols & stalk them merrily to their hearts content. We all have people we admire or look up to but we don’t think the logical step is to insinuate ourselves into their lives by any method possible.

The bulk of the drama had no real story, nothing really happened. Also there wasn’t much chemistry between the main leads, it all seemed forced and awkward, such a shame when there was so much potential.

I thought Jae Hee was inconsiderate towards Eun Gyeol to the point of being cruel she should have told him the truth about herself when he confessed his feelings for her.

One other point which I disliked about the last episode when she gets found out for being a girl she just wanders around the school like its not a big deal lol but yet she cannot spare the time to go & see Tae Joon jump at the competition. Why do the writer's make the heroines vapid and selfish?
Also the students/teachers/staff no one is that angry at being deceived like this, and there are no repercussions for her ...ridiculous. ** But this is Kdramas after all ….anything does :D

I agree with everything you said, lol. I don't even know if I have anything to add to it.

I agree with everything you guys say, but still I was able to enjoy the drama because it made me turn off my brain for 2 hours a week and leave all sense of reality to be among the characters :D I don't know, my rational part tells me it wasn't really good, but then my feelings tell me that they loved it, so I did love it, with all its cheesiness and fluffiness and random scenes :D

yeah its always good to switch off the brain once in a while, too much intensity is emotionally draining :)

loved the drama..... would have gave it a 10/10 BUT, the ending...was too quick... and a teeny bit lame haha giving it an 8 instead. hehe my lovely Eun Gyeol :'( hope he has a new role soon and as a MAIN character it'll be interesting to watch, love his smile its so bright lol ;)
