Drama where main character gets treated like shit but then turns out to be epic?

Hi guys, so I'm looking for a drama where the main character (preferably male) gets treated really badly/ degraded/ bullied, but then turns out to do something epic or becomes really successful and totally proves everyone wrong. Something like Innocent Man, Ugly alert, That Fool, Doctors, or Young pal would be great.
