and on an indelicate note: I'm still confounded by all poop and fart jokes in Kdramas. That still baffles me. Funny as heck most of the time...but still...

and YES that will never cease to annoy the crap out of me! I think that was my very first post in this thread. I want to reach through the screen and shake someone! I can't decide who? The evil witch or b@$tard doing the torturing or the meek as a mouse girl who's just sitting there taking it and being walked on.

It really does amaze me as well, something that just isn't talked about here, or its to embarrassing to talk about, is just a joke in kdrama's.. shocks me most of the time.. And I am the same way, it annoys me too, I mean I understand if the character is supposed to be a meek shy girl, but that is almost NEVER the case.. I just wanna reach into dramaland and knock the crap outta 'em.
Yes! i understand that there are a lot of shy, demure characters in Asian dramas. But I just wish they would even it out a bit more by throwing more tough chicks into the mix. It seems like the tougher girls in Asian dramas are the evil ones. I don't think being outspoken or sticking up for yourself should mean you're the bad guy.
It annoys me as well. It's unrealistic. How many times have you witnessed a girl getting insulted, slapped, and harassed and all they do is stutter and say useless things like,"Why are you being like this?" In real life, insults generally get hurled back or the person threatens to charge you for assault. I know I would tell that lady with the raised arm to think twice before laying a hand on me. I'd give her three choices: Go away, hit me and I hit back, or hit me and let's let the cops have a chat with you.
I don't like some of the "coincidence" scenes. Like the two leads are having a conversation and someone just happens to walk by and witness it. Or two people just happen to run into each other. Sometimes these scenes are necessary and fun to watch, but some dramas go on overload with it. xD
hmm what makes me laugh is the fact in nearly every drama i have watched so far, there is a group of girls adoring over some hot guy. whether it be as a superstar or a high school hottie. What i noticed is everytime the guy is with another girl or dating, they cry all of them LOL big groups of them all standing there and crying. I laugh my head off I can give a few examples anull. you're beautiful, boys before flowers, heartstrings

haha of course. It's needed to all dramas ;P

The character is still really annoying, but at least her acting has improved.
i can't stand it when you watch a scene happen. then 2 seconds later they have a montague of it and THEN the person who was in it has a inner monologue explaining what just happened >.< i mean really?
Hahaha I know what you mean lol Unnecessary flashbacks are annoying.
Goo Hyo Seon in Cinderella's Sister. I'm just watching the second episode and she already annoys me -.-

omo 18 episodes to go ToT
eps 1-10 were amazing but after that...
i just finsished 49 days and my one and only complaint about the whole thing is Ji Hyun's habbit of "picking her nails", which means balling both fists holding them at her upper torso and picking at her thumbnails with her forefingers. the mannerisim is so forced. it's supposed to be an unconscious thing that she does. go ahead, try to mimic it, there is NO WAY you do that with out knowing it. it's actually pretty awkward.

yea, i know it's another culture, but really? you're just going to stand there and let some SLAP you? where i come from that's grounds for a stompin'. i am a grown woman, even my own mother doesnt slap me.
