Lost You Forever Season 2
Busy little bee, isn't he? Guess he doesn't have to worry about not having work :-)HeadInTheClouds:
hahahah ... no, I'm pretty sure not working is never the problem. Poor guy needs another vacation.
Hmm. Sci-fi would be something different. But it's also riskier if the logic isn't strong.HeadInTheClouds:
Was the Ma Boyong one the one that was supposed to start Hu Kai? I vaguely remembered something about Xu Kai being removed from some dual male lead drama due to his recent scandal.
No, that one is with Miles Wei. I don't think Tan was ever considered for that one. It's this Ma Boyong one. There were rumors a year or so ago. But it looks like it is going to be Cheng Yi and Lin Geng Xin. :(

SHI RI does sound different and it is by the team that did I AM NOBODY, which I heard was pretty good. If he is going to do another contemporary (sort of) then this one looks promising.
Hopefully we'll get an announcement for his next drama after the movies drop.
With TJC's fashion endorsements, I don't think he will be less thinner any time soon. I thought his weight was good during LYF. His FFB still had those cute, pinchable cheeks. But he has been getting progressively thinner during the last 3 years.HeadInTheClouds:
Sigh. There is that. Even though I think too many of the models are too thin.
And YES. I loved his look as both FFB and XL. I don't think he needed to be any thinner.
Tan Jian Ci is going to be on the cover of Marie Claire China's magazine. It looks very haute couture / concert costume like.

Tan Jian Ci's movie Sound of Silence will be released internationally in New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Canada and the US in another week or two. Keep checking your local movie listings to see if it is coming to your country. It's doing pretty well at the box office, and seems to have plenty of critical acclaim.
There's lots of clips and pics and tidbits on the MDL movie page.

I haven't heard anything about Three Kingdoms Starlit Heroes, Tan Jian Ci's voice acting debut, getting an international release yet, but keeping my fingers crossed. It's hanging in there at the box office.
There's also a lot of news and linkage on Tan Jian Ci's actor page, thanks to Joa and others updating regularly.

It's listed as "coming soon" at my local cinema chain, so I'll be getting it. It will probably be like his last movie—limited sessions over a week. I'll see if I can catch it.

He's cosplaying as black swan in the third picture :-)

Doubtful that it will get an international release. Ne Zha didn't release here until the end of August and it wasn't in the cinema for long.
I got myself to the cinema to watch the movie. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by 3 incredibly chatty moviegoers who TALKED THE ENTIRE TIME. URG!!!!! They talked so loudly that I can still hear them even after moving across to the other side of the cinema to get away from them. I didn't pay $$$ to listen to your running commentary, ladies. Needless to say, I was distracted throughout the movie, which negatively affected my viewing experience.

Poor thing, sorry they ruined it for you.
I heard AvenueX say the movie did well. She’s low-key a fun of TJC
Kokuto:
Welcome back!
I'm not sure Avenue X is a fan of anyone, but Tan Jian Ci holds a special place, because his first acting job was also her first job on a set.
Hahahaha you’re right about Avenue X , she’ll roast just about anyone. She does wish our TJC well though.
And thank you, glad to be back
