The drama differed from the novel. The bite wasn't supposed to look like it hurt. idk why she made faces like that lol.

No, the drama said the same, but more.  Remember, when CX had the PLB, he woke up when he felt XL neck biting XY and thought XY was making out with someone after XY had been seriously injured saving his butt.

The problem, I read somewhere, was the Yang Zi was extremely ticklish about her neck, and getting those neck biting shot, without her giggling or twisting away, was difficult.

Hi, I‘ve been looking for the Xiang Liu‘s wreck self therapy group and I think I‘ve found it here? I even made an MDL account just to be able to join the conversation after spending a couple of days skimming/reading all threads out there about our beloved Snake Demon. After finishing LYF I‘m spending all of my free time watching XL and TJC vids and I thank u all from the bottom of my heart for the steady supply of XL/TJC contents 😉.  I was a Jinger for the couple first eps (pls don‘t stone me) and converted thoroughly by XL/FFB charms. At the beginning I found XL to be too pretty for my taste. But OMG that man just exudes sexiness and my hormones respond to everything he did. I don‘t understand how XY not dissolving into puddle everytime XL  comes near her. She must be a really though cookie. I haven‘t felt like this and fangirling this hard since Ashes of Love, which I love, despite its weaknesses. That drama made me fall hard for Deng Lun and I‘m still heartbroken for losing him and that made me swear never ever again falling for C-Actor until TJC in XL happened and bring me down the rabbit hole AGAIN 🙈. I usually avoid Cdrama because the story often bloated with unnecessary side couple (looking at u Ashes of Love), bad acting, logic holes, etc. But I was in a Kdrama slump and Avenuex recommended LYF. So I watch this series with zero expectation, knowing nothing of the original novel, blown away from the beginning, reading the novel to find out more about XL and now alternating beetween ranting mad and depressed for his end. I‘m seriously going through the 5 stages of grief for a fictional character 😅.

@luv2bafangurl welcome to our club!!! Ashes of Love it's my first drama, and my biggest love, after so many years I still rewatch it (I rewatch it probably 100 times 🤣🤣🤣) it's my safe space, I know every dialogues but still rewatch it, especially when life become hard 

And XL and TJC also my biggest obsession now ! I just love everything about that character, somehow i find him very relatable to me (even when he opposite of me))) and TJC such amazing actor, he such cutie pie in real life , but can took any role and make it perfect! And his sing, dancing skills 🔥🔥🔥
