Especially in all those 37 years, how many times she called out his name. I wished he would have heard it.

She felt so comfortable around him and he was most probably the most tender to her at that time cuz he thought she doesn’t know. That is why the more we dislike her for disregarding the 37 years after hearing stupid transaction thing. I guess that was the time I hate CX most.

Yeah, IMO, the drama made it look like she kinda believed the transaction thing. It was very frustrating that CX didn't even explain to her why XL needed the mountain. The reason was to bury his soldiers.

AND we also got to hear her thoughts about XL saving her to get that mountain:

"I was worrying about how to repay his life-saving grace. I didn't expect it. That's Xiang Liu with Nine Lives who never loses out on a deal"

The first time she saw him again after their 37 years under the sea, she remembered what CX told her: "Xiang Liu didn't save you for nothing, he wanted the mountain in exchange."

smh girl. You saw him embrace and caress you for 37 years. Are you really going to believe it's all just a transaction to him?

True I didn’t find him bad in his other roles but Jing is just too much. And probably that just transferred to him and I am really sorry for being bias but just can’t help myself.

Objectively he is an ok actor for a newbie. There are tons with less talent.

I am totally discovering this to be true, as I skim through some CDrama shows.  O_O

This transaction business is indeed frustrating.  Especially given, Jing's entire business and much of his personal interactions, are TRANSACTIONS.  Dude is filthy rich off transactions.  He ropes her into a transactional agreement to wait for him for 15 years.  He can't get out of his FFYY engagement, which is a matrimonial transaction.  If XL is making transactions, guess who is on the other end of that transaction ... JING.  Even 17 ... I'll do all this stuff if you let me stay here with you -- transaction.

DW can’t be bad actor compare to many but in LYF you can fully see different in range acting between him and others period no one going to change my mind on this. Again I agree he’s new and have room for improvement no hate against him. I like him in 'Miss Dragon', he was ok in ‘TTEOM’ and ‘TJOC' I dropped after eps. 6 can’t judge but for now he’s mor an pretty face I need to see more before my ending judgment 🫡

I feel the manly tension between CX and XL in their scenes together, like they are equal opponent in strength and intelligence, for ex. when they fight or in the scene where XL picked lifeless XY. But in TSJ-XL scenes (for ex. where YSQ went to army camp to pick XL at the beginning or at the river/lake side where YSQ tried to stop WXL going with XL) I‘m thinking: watch out fox, don‘t bite more than you can chew. Brownie point for YSQ though for trying in contrast to TSJ passiveness later on, who just lets everybody rolled over him🤷‍♀️. But this actually fit with their character description so it didn’t bother me and I was still a Jinger then. I even respect YSQ for going against stronger opponent for WXL. But as the series progress XL just shine brighter and brighter while TSJ becoming duller. I don‘t even know when I fall for XL. He just naturally becoming more attractive to me. As I said before, I found XL too pretty for a man at the beginning but damn he changed my mind. Now I only see 🔥🔥🔥when I see XL/FFB. Yes TJC is definity a scene stealer/light stealer you name it 😄😄. TJC micro expression is *chef kiss. I feel that he‘s not acting but really becoming XL/FFB.

PS: I didn’t know any of the male actors before or have watched any show with them in it and I didn’t know the LYF story at all, so I was a total blank slate going into the show with zero expectation other than hoping to find a drama with  story taht not overly stupid and adequate acting  to entertain myself
