Uhn oh.  I haven't gotten that far.  I mean, he's clearly courting HM, but she's still stuck on Shen Mi.  She hasn't turned into a delu lu yet.  Though I AM yelling at her through my screen.

Well, he isn't going to get the woman he deserves in this drama -- Your Sensibility My Destiny.  So far, it isn't a big role.  He plays a constable.  But he grew up with some street thieves, including the FL, who gets trapped in a hidden prince's manor, because he can't feel emotions or taste or feel things, and she can magically fix it, by holding hands.  The guy who plays the Prince is the lead in Scent of Time.

I think he’s not bad actor to be always be support. ´Your sensibility my destiny' they didn’t make him an active second male pursuing FL just some hidden love. In ´my unicorn girl’ he wasn’t my second male lead potential crush but there they made him like someone else at the end. ´You are my destiny' Only thing I didn’t like in his character was helping his nasty sister Anna but like always he’s kinda charismatic. He was so hot in 'Circle of Love’ messy story but I love him there. Anyway agree with you about him deserving main role than many but with an good ending at least 😅😅

Unfortunately for me his role here is more like a guest role because he doesn’t appear that much but I can’t understand how he could fall for her when she had been constantly saying to him that she is in line with Shen Mi, that she is complaining why he doesn’t love her and she is drinking, crying, blah blah blah in front of the poor guy 🤮🤮🤮♥

And don’t let me start with Shen Mi’s mom 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤮

The fact that this will be his debut as the first ML is actually ludicrous. Were those directors, producers, and everyone else responsible for these decisions asleep at the wheel?

It's a shame, but better later than never. Even though he has said that he has never felt that he lost out on opportunities due to his height, I think he's being very gracious, imo it has unfairly disadvantaged him -- c-ent casts for height and looks and youthfulness in their leading men first, height especially is very important, being around 183cm is an industry standard...it didn't used to be like that but in recent years it has become the baseline standard for actors in idol dramas (especially for costume dramas the aesthetic is for a tall willowy look), and having a big height difference btwn man and woman is almost fetishized and very trendy in China in real life too.

Also, I'm not trying to be offensive or inflammatory but I am, as well as other 小檀火, a little bit concerned that almost all his leading ladies in his upcoming shows are significantly younger It Girl actresses and the shows seem more geared towards promoting them and even though he is 1ML his roles seem kind of supporting (the exception would be Go East where even though his love interest is another younger It girl actress the show seems pretty obviously centered around his character). I don't want to see his career go the way of Jeremy Tsui's where he gets pigeonholed as the reliable older leading man to support and break in young flavor of the moment/not quite fully established actresses in second tier productions.

Yes.  It isn't a big role.  And it appears it is another long suffering friend zoned character (You Are My Destiny is the worst for this).  But it is NOT a second lead, so I have hope.

Shen Mi has a mom?  She hasn't shown up yet.
