Yes, the texture of the skin is very noticeable especially if the gif is ultra-sharpened in Photoshop. I love that they stopped those filters. It made the actors look so unnatural.

the next step is to stop over whitening the actor‘s skin  with foundation and red lipstick for male actor. They all are already fair to beginn with and the bright red lips are kind of distracting for me especially in FMV where the creator used different  color grading/filter that makes the lipstick‘s color weird or even more noticeable.

Like Avenuex‚s explanation about actors career trajectory in c-net, I think  after a couple of successful idol dramas he needs to  do more serious drama/movie. In his favor, he already proven his acting chops in Advisor Alliance and Under the Skin, both are not idol drama right? Well we can only hope that after LYF success new doors are opened for him and he gets better script offers to chose from.

Oh, that's Insider's favorite too, IIRC.  It's from a movie.  Ah, the Name Engraved In My Heart.  His voice his very versatile and I love it.

I really don't know what qualifies as an idol drama.  But I do hope that Tan Jian Ci gets more and better scripts and productions, not to mention lead roles.  I can't believe he's never gotten one before.  Under the Skin maybe, but that was really a co-lead, IMO.  I think the upcoming Love Me Love My Voice will be the first.

I agree.  Doing movies would be idea for him.  The next step.  Plus it would give him more time to continue his singing career.
