Her return to being a princess ruined everything. The story became the boring cliché it was trying to avoid. Even the ending is pathetically wrapped up and the easy way out.

It ruined XL / XY's happy ending, and changed XY substantially, but I wouldn't go so far as to say the story became boring... maybe more like a train wreck.  lol

Hey, the fast forward button was invented for un-dreadful-fying shows.

There was a really heart stabbing interview where Tan Jian Ci talked about an early filming experience, and I've been trying to figure out for a week WHAT show he could be talking about, as none of what was listed sounded like a show where that would happen.  He seems to have impressed in whatever he's done, and the creators he worked with would then try to use him again, or maybe recommend him.  Now I have more candidates to consider.
