If I ignored my head-cannon about the Lovers Bugs, then I'm all for it. There are no promises or understanding between them, so why the heck not?

I feel another fanfic idea coming on. XY experiencing all the feels from Xiang Liu's...ahem...erotic adventures!! And realizing that Jing couln't even begin to compare. And realizing that she had f*** up!

Is that too cruel? Do I even care if it is? :-)

Yes. Everyone was OOC. And the vibe was just off. I wonder if the author came from an Asian background, 'cause some of it could be due to cultural differences. That said, I appreciate people who tried - writing is not easy. And I admire people who are willing to put their work out there. 

I read the second one. I just wish it was a little bit more passionate. Haha, I have such a one-track mind. But, I feel like there is a lot of passion between these two - and suppressed passion will have an amplifying effect - so once they do get together, it should be hot and tender. 

I'll give the other one a shot. Always looking for good YaoLiu's fic.

Um-hum! Plus, we know that he has discipline and diligence (look at the way he trained the resistance army), so he would have practice until he got it right ;-)


It's a sad life I lead, that I'm speculating on fictional characters' sex life. Lol

I didn't even know about this, but yes!  I think Jing has reached this critical level for many folks here.  The roasting has been elevated to new levels.

There are essays over on the Harvard thread about the controversial Lovers Bugs topic. Opinions are divided. I'm of the opinion that XY "likes" Jing, but doesn't "loves" him in a romantic way because the Lovers Bugs would have turned. Other think that the Lovers Bugs allow you to love multiple people, as long as you still love your bugs partner. 

There are also disagreements over whether physical intimacy would/should turn the Lovers bugs into Hearbreak Bugs. I made an observation about this a few pages back to liddi. I might have to throw it over to the Harvard Thread for more essays :-).

Lol. To further add to this observation (just in case you're not sufficiently dead ;-)). Besides discipline and diligence, we also know that he's adventurous and spontaneous. He's open to new ideas, so you just know that he's up for some experimenting and spur-of-the-moment escapades. No boring, single-position, all-day, every-day crap here.  You're gonna get all the good stuff ;-)


I feel like I'm a terrible, corrupting influence on you :-). But, life is too short to be serious all the time
