Honestly, if Xiang Liu wasn't in this story, then this would've been another typical drama. Who wants to watch that fox try to solve his family drama? It's a snoozefest and like a boring soap opera.

So true. As much as I like Zhang Wanyi and Yang Zi acting, their storyline didn‘t grip my heart and ripp it to pieces. My brain appreciate their acting skill but their story just doesn‘t connect with me emotionally. And like you said Jing‘s storyline is as tropey as we can get with evil fiancee, cukcoo baby etc. I guess without XL I‘ll  still finish watching LFY but it‘s just going to be another drama I‘ve watched and put to the side after.

And I agree with you that lady XL is weird. She showed up too much, too much, too much. She didn't even act like XL. She was more like a sisterly figure but XY was still attracted to her. I doubt XY is into women and I'm not either lol (not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just not my preference XD). I was here for Xiang Liu, not a woman that doesn't even act like him -_-

Seriously who here wrote it. I loved it so much for the lols. It was a bit long and tedious but if you like Fox roasting the last few chapters may be worth it. Everyone was against him and thought poorly of him

That sounds hilarious. I don't think I'll read it though. When it comes to fanfic, I prefer the writer to at least capture some essence of the original characters. Otherwise, I might as well read a completely new story.

It was XL that accompanied her to Jade Mountain so she'd go back to her female form. Afterwards, XL took her shopping. I think the writer implied he had money saved up from his time as FFB... but FFB didn't have that much money either so it didn't make sense.

I wouldn't read it unless you want some smut lmao. IMO, it's even more graphic than the English one a lot of us here read.
