I prefer not to call it anything. I'm going to be too evil :)
Don't pull your punches now.
Besides, I'm thinking of posting a full-on roasting essay on LYF and the various characters so I need you to keep me company ;-)

Kokuto:
How sad is that? He even failed at dying for love. SMH
I agree with your assessment of saving XY from the assassination, but I'm fine with sharing the credit ... cause I KNOW who did the most and in what order. ;p
Pathetic isn't he?
He can share the credit, it's not a huge thing. However, his actions during this major arc just really can't be defended - no amount of contortion will suffice. It's this character's crowning glory, the perfect encapsulation of who he is.

Kokuto:
LMAO! It's still funny, every time I hear that.
Did you notice in those excerpts that were posted in the comments and Author Notes, that not once did Tong Hua say XY loved Jing? Jingers posted them thinking they proved something, but completely ignored the fact that Tong Hua said, XY got what she wanted, A COMPANION. So, I am definitely getting that feeling about Tong Hua not liking Jing. Which, again, is why I'm holding onto my hopes for Season 2.
Tong Hua talks the way she writes, with hidden meanings in the words that she uses or does not use. Companion instead of love, not a tragedy instead of a happy ending. But what can you expect from people who refuse to entertain the idea that there is more to a piece of writing than just the text-level understanding?
Where are these excerpts? Was it in one of these threads?
