After watching such an amazing series, I did not expect to find myself ranting about how stupid and unnecessary that last scene was. Anyone with me on this?

I think the only part of the drama that many did not like/found it unnecessary.
Maybe it is a premise for Season 2 as with many Netflix series,  but seems a bit cruel especially when everyone is shipping Na-mu and Geu-ru minutes before :(

Anyways, with the premise and the excellent acting, Season 2 is awaited if they make one :) 

hahahahah i thought wholesome would be the last feeling left when i finished this drama but unexpectedly out of blue and nowhere this drama left me baffled, puzzled, perplexed, dumbfounded, speechless, confused and honestly somewhat excited lol

i never ship them anyway muahahaha. personally i feel like na-mu/geu-ru has less chemistry than na-mu/uncle lol

but still, honestly, it really left a sour taste in my mouth that they suddenly introduce a new character right at the end and then refused to elaborate. like what the heck is their problem (sorry for the rant)

With everyone on the disappointment with the totally unnecessary end scene. The story arc was complete. There was nothing more to add. But Netflix, being Netflix, have to spoil things by waving a potential sequel. It would have been far better if the last scene had been left out. Then, if there ever is a sequel made, it would come as a very plesant surprise.

Most Kdramas are completed within a single series, which is actually one of the things I really like about them. Indeed, if a show has a season two, in most cases I don't consider it a 'Kdrama' . (Yeah, I know they're dramas, and they're Korean, but you hopefully know what I mean!) Unfortunately, the crass commercialism of Netflix seems to be starting to rub off on other production companies. I wonder how long it will be before, like in the West, seasons keep being churned out until a plot idea is done to death, everyone is bored, and we wonder why we thought it was good in the first place!

I don't think this is a spoiler because it hasn't actually happened yet, so I'm not marking it as such, but there was already a potential season two buried in the plot, without the need for the last scene. Madam Jeong (the organiser of the illegal gambling) wasn't caught. She didn't strike me as being the sort of character to let what happened go unanswered. Hmmm. Now, if they were to develop that ... maybe I DO want a season two after all. :-)
