Lost in JDRAMAS

I already know a lot of Chinese and Kdramas, but I know nothing about Jdramas and really wanted to watch them. 

It needs to have romance with a happy ending between ML and FL. 

Better if the drama is not too old - not before 2016 -

Any recs?

Here's my list of J Dramas since  2016 I've scored 7 or higher . Some of my favourites didn't make the cut because of that age cutoff, hopefully once you have the J-dorama bug you'll reconsider 😁

Doesn't exactly meet your requests, but I think you'd probably enjoy them anyway:

  • Mystery to Iunakare (sherlock holmes-style deductions, lots of heart, crime)
  • Quartet  (just a roller coaster ride of a show. better to go into this one blind)

And if you want to get out of your comfort zone, try these two classics. I recommend these after you've had some good time in jdramas already:
