My Cherie Amour (I go recommending this to everyone including my friends, cousins, colleagues, and in some mdl forums; a rich and confident woman chasing a kind and self-sacrifice judge) - sweet and funny but there's moments when you'll definitely cry

Nodame Cantabile (a crazy, lazy, gluttonous prodigy pianist chasing a serious and perfectionist pianist-turns-conductor) - super funny

Only for Love (main couple: an ambitious and smart scheming reporter chasing a handsome and cool tsundere businessman + side couple: a cute and brave young heiress chasing a serious and innocent professor) - sweet and funny but there's also some sad moment

Edited

Additionals (more angst than the previous three titles with time skips):

Crush (a young broadcaster chasing a blind songwriter, break up, meet again after years: a woman with mental problem and normal man. They still do the same jobs I think)

My Sunshine (a lively and kind rich girl chasing a serious model student, break up, meet again after years: a shy photographer and a gloomy lawyer)

The Love You Give Me (a young woman tries to give a young man the diary of the late victim of a bus-they ride the same bus-accident and fall in love with the man who think she's the diary owner-his orphanage friend, break up, meet again after years: a single mom who works on IT industry and an IT company owner)

Unrequited love (Watch all versions.. literally best example)

I like unrequited dramas too, and especially ones involving husbands and wives. I guess that’s why I also like forced marriage dramas because someone is bound to fall hard first thanks to this forum i am now watching  Have A Crush on You  / Love Heals. thank you, I am enjoying it so far.

my recs to OP are these: thanks to my recent rewatches of these favorites:

- Nagareboshi (Japan) - Kengo saves Risa from suicide and in return, she marries him to donate part of her liver for his sister. I just love the hero. And in my older years, my heart breaks for Risa.

- Familiar Wife (Korea) - Joo-hyuk, tired of his married life, time travels back to before he meets his wife Woo-jin, in order to avoid marrying her. And he does, but with consequences. I like how they the time travel unfolded. And I really enjoyed the chemistry of the couple. And  Jisung’s eyes are so expressively beautiful.

I hope there are other recs along these dramas.

How about these?

  • To the Beautiful You   (S. Korea, 2012). FL attends an all-boys school to be there for her crush who had a major sports injury. I have seen two other adaptations but the Korean one is my favorite: Hana Kimi (Taiwan, 2006) and Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Japan, 2007).
  • Don't Dare to Dream  AKA Jealousy Incarnate
  • Our Blooming Youth  This might fit.
  • The Forbidden Marriage FL fell first; ML was still in love with his Crown Princess.

Oh my gosh! How could I forget to include the sublime A Hundred Memories (South Korea)? I loved how generous and self sacrificing the FL is. And to have the ML finally realize the treasure he has in her was so good, I replayed those parts multiple times.

Familiar Wife is one of my favorite kdramas of all time! I'm definitely going to check out the other dramas you mentioned. I'm starting A Hundred Memories now, thanks for the recs!
