Could you recommend me a few series where the main character tries to suceed against all odds?

I've been wondering about it too, since I'm planning on expanding my tumblr drama theme list and am currently working on "ambition" and "one against all" themes. But I have no time to be waching more dramas these days, so I can only stick to the few titles that come to mind but which you probably watched already. I think, Dae Mul is one. Cain and Abel have that element too in the context of ambition. Bad guy, in a way, too, though it relates tightly to the theme of revenge. Hungry! is starting to develop such a theme, but it's a standard foodie romcom drama.

I think King of Baking is a very good one...never have i seen such a strong character as Yoon Si Yoon (Kim Tak Gu) and I personally learnt alot from him, especially interm of how to stay strong through hardship =)

watch Top Secret of the bilionaire It's a Thai movie. I curse the actor as long as the movie roll, he tried a lot of thing that I think just a stupid one, but that's the way he could be success. I cry when watched the ending. I recomende it the most

Hmm.... I guess LIAR GAME is a sort of 'suceeding against all odds' sort of drama. Especially if you consider the main character Kanzaki Nao in the game.
