IN NEED FOR C-DRAMA LIKE THIS!!

So I'm into drama with thriller, mystery, adventure, or like not so serious horror with slight romance (I can't really watch BL but I'm ok with bromance). Oh I also like mystery game where it is mix reality or fantasy (they get in to VR games or stuff) and breaking serial killer case (not documentary ok). If you don't get it I mean I like something like Reset, The spirealm, The seven relics of ill omen, 19th  Floor, Ultimate note, Strange Tales of Jiang Cheng, Rose Finch. If anyone have recommendation similar with this please help this poor girl..

I have watched The Mystery of Dragon Town that one is good!

and derailment but dropped it because it's kind of bland for the 4 episodes I watch, does it get progressively better?

It does get better, imo. I found the first few episodes a bit slow, too.
