You might enjoy Healer, which features a skilled "healer" who takes on a mission that brings him into the life of an FL who is being pursued by dangerous people. Another option is "The K2", where a bodyguard saves a sheltered heiress from political intrigue, leading to a romance amidst high-stakes action.  For a modern take on adventure, "Descendants of The Sun" combines romance with a rescue mission between a soldier and a doctor in a war-torn country. You might also enjoy "City Hunter" and "Vincenzo".

Honestly, I love the K2 but I absolutely disliked the romance story between the male lead and the female lead. The evil step mother kept the whole drama up, whereas the backstory of the male lead and especially the romance story with the female lead are very weak.
So I wouldn't actually recommend this to you if you look for a romance drama, if you are interested in grey, females with a powerful character than it is a masterpiece. The evil step mother .....she was absolutely amazing. Golden actress. Golden performance. Golden character.


Healer is better developed so defo give this a try.
