Quantcast

Some of the shows I’ve watched so far:

Spring Fever

Idol

Vigilante

Daily Dose of Sunshine

Can you recommend some shows that are really engaging and not boring?
Something that hooks you from the very first episode would be amazing

Looking for something underrated, not the usual popular ones

Maybe:

(Not sure if I give spoiler so I'll just cover the synopsis)

Kokuho (meaning: National Treasure, a movie. It should be quite popular in Japan and abroad, but only 1.595 watchers. Well, that's a small number. This drama made Kabuki being popular again, significantly, according to news. It's really a good news for Japanese Kabuki performers. The movie has morally grey ML from pitiful background starting late in Kabuki but persisted and became the best of all, but because he has no backing -except for his teacher- he's manipulating several people and abandoning several people. But it mainly driven by his love for Kabuki, to the point he got mad by obsession to steal from someone precious to him.)

Living (It's one of the high rated drama in douban, but the theme was heavy. A man planning to suicide went back to his hometown wanted to properly say goodbye. But many things from the past being talked and many other things happened; the good things and the bad things came to him. Meeting old and new people, reconsidering the things he remembered and the real things that happened. Was his life that bad?)

Marital Justice (Winning multiple awards in Thailand, including one award that went to the child actor. Everything was really good here. The plot, the actors, the karmic retribution, the bit of laws and politics, the romance and each characters' emotions and reactions are logical and based on their backgrounds and personalities but still dramatic enough. It's about a woman who found out his husband marry another woman in another city and she came to ruin the wedding and sent the mistress a lawsuit for emotional damage compensation. The first half spent on the court for two lawsuits, the second half was the story of her life moving on but not completely.)

Rental Family (a movie. Based on real service in Japan. Rental Family was a service made for people in need of people to pretend to become anything they needed. From important events attendants, a fake love partner including fake mistress, a dad; practically everything. There's this new recruit who let himself got involved too deep and caused multiple accidents, but because of him there's a few people being healed and changed too.)

Sandstorm (It's unpopular outside of China but it considered one of the best mystery drama from 2025 in China. The human relations in this drama was really complex that's why it's interesting. What and how a man perceived and reacted will be entirely depended on how he lived and whatever happened in his live.)

Positively Yours was widely panned, and it wasn't perfect, but it was fine for a romcom. I have an impaired romance gene, so your mileage may vary.

Itaewon Class has everything: romance, revenge, and a killer OST. Think psychopath and sociopath falling in love.

My Perfect Stranger is never mentioned on lists, but I liked how different it was. Mix a serial killer with time travel.

With so many excellent dramas, why limit yourself to underrated ones? Popular ones are popular for a reason.  Try:

Crash Landing on You

Twinkling Watermelon

Reset is a time loop with imminent destruction threatening the protagonist. (I think everything else was Korean, but this is Chinese).

Hope this helps! 😁😉

An underrated one that I know of is Warm and Cozy

Never heard of someone talk about it like ever. It's a rom-com kdrama btw

Sypnosis from Wikipedia:

Lee Jung-joo has struggled and worked hard all her life, but has never caught a break, leaving her perpetually grouchy. In her seven years as an administrative employee at a clothing company in Seoul, she has never missed a day of work. But that doesn't stop her from losing her job, her house and her boyfriend in quick succession, so she unwillingly sets off to start a new life in Jeju Island.[7]

There, she meets Baek Gun-woo, chef and owner of the restaurant "Warm and Cozy.".[8] Jung-joo met Baek Gun-woo previously during their nineteenth birthday and mistaken that they are twin. Jung-joo first mistakes him for a con artist, because he can't seem to help himself from telling charming lies left and right. Gun-woo is a laidback romantic from a wealthy family who only does what he feels like doing, including opening a restaurant on Jeju simply because that's where he first met his first crush. Jung-joo and Gun-woo clash over their different personalities and priorities, then gradually fall in love with each other.[9]

It's a really good one in my opinion, such a shame that it's not that popular.

Wait how do I get the blue thing that redirects you to the drama itself?

 Juliette:

Peki, beni dizinin kendisine yönlendiren mavi bağlantıyı nasıl bulabilirim?

By the way, if you can’t find the blue link, you can message me if you want  I’ll try to help

Wait how do I get the blue thing that redirects you to the drama itself?

When you get ready to post, look up where you can choose Bold, Italic, etc. Click on the Link icon (second row, 4th over). You'll get a pop-up. Put the URL in the first space and the name of the drama in the second one.

Happy watching!

Oh thank you so much
