I'd say "Cunning Single Lady" fits that pretty well, except she doesn't leave him for another man. She leaves him for other reasons/circumstances. However the male lead is hurt and doesn't want anything to do with her. When she attempts to reconcile, he is adamant in keeping her away. But of course, as the story de elope the audience and the main male lead finds out why she left and they do reconcile.
