Pls suggest a romance movie - Chinese, Japanese (with strong chemistry) with a MALE lead who's not flowerboy, but more of oozes a hardcore-businessman-intellectual vibe. Like more of ahjusshi than oppa.

I'm exploring the beauty of Asian cinema pls help me out.

Def of flowerboy -- Lee Min-ho, Park Kyung-sik, Lee Jongsuk, Park Seojoon, etc.

Businessman-intellectual -- Ken Watanabe, Park Shin-yang, Lei Jiayin, Hwang Jung-min

Actor Huang Xiao Ming

-Cruel romance: Crime boss

-My sunshine (movie): Lawyer

Actor Jerry Yan (debatable but in these dramas he's definitely not flower)

-Down with love: lawyer

-Loving never forgetting: Businessman.

Actor Hawick Lau (Not my favorite but...)

-Sealed with a kiss (he looks really old in this one, plus glasses! haha): businessman.

Well, OP asked for romance movies/shows. BG: Personal Bodyguard is not a romance, neither is Internal Affairs or Mr. Wu. Andy Lau had some romance movies when he was younger, but... He was definitely pretty back then, so not sure if you want to watch it.

Liu Ye's All Quiet in Peking is also not a romance, but his newest drama Old Boy has some romance (focusing on main leads meeting and getting to know each other, rather than dating), but main theme is slice of life, family and friendship. Very recommended.

Maybe try Love me if you Dare?
