I second Just Between Lovers. It has a tone that I've never found anywhere else. Beautiful.

I also second Come and Hug Me. Fun, definitely the angstiest (yet happy ended) romance I've seen.

Doctor John. There's a bit more to it than romance and the ending is happy.
