Historical drama with great romance?

I have no real conditions. I don't shy away from tragic or bitter-sweet endings as long as they feel fitting. Although I'd love for there to be happy ending. Just looking for a great love story is all. Also, just curious if anyone has seen a historical where second male lead gets the girl.

1. The Story of Ming Lan (this is very slice of life/slower than normal) my absolute favorite historical but super slow burn & subtle romance.

7. Love & Destiny
8. The Scholar Who Walks the Night (vampires)
9. Jewel in the Palace
10. The Crowned Clown
11. Queen for Seven Days
12. The Rise of the Phoenixes (tragedy warning) Also super subtle/slow burn.
