I've absolutely loved Itaewon Class and I'm willing to watch dramas similar to it but nothing really came to my mind. Do you have any ideas please? Thank you very much.

  • Fight for My Way - Park Seo Joon plays a ML who is a good guy who suffers an injustice, works an unglamorous job, and then works hard in a different area to make a successful comeback with a little bit of a revenge element (sort of), there's a slow burn romance that is slower partly because of the ML's entanglement with a SFL, and there's a sense of solidarity between a group of young friends struggling to make their way in the world.
  • Sungkyunkwan Scandal - The ML is a very upright stickler for the rules / doing what is right, there is romance where the ML is conflicted partly due to a connection to another girl (he has an arranged engagement) and partly due to the status of the FL (rather than an age gap, the issue is that the FL pretends to be a boy and the ML believes his feelings are one-sided and that a gay relationship would destroy the FL's reputation and chances of becoming an official), it doesn't cover racism or transphobia like Itaewon Class but it touches on issues of homophobia a little bit, and a group of friends becomes close as they struggle to tackle social, academic and political issues in a just way.
  • Strongest Deliveryman - The FL has a brash and prickly personality, she ends up working with the ML who unwaveringly sticks to a kind and moral approach to life and work, that approach has its challenges but also proves to sow rewards, and the ML later becomes a CEO of a food-industry related venture.

I watched Fight for my way, I enjoyed it a lot. I see how it can be similar to Itaewon Class. And I will consider in watching the other two, thank you!
