Dramas where second lead actually wins?

Dramas from any country, I will watch anything.

Looking for dramas where someone who seemed like the second lead earlier on in the drama ends up with the girl. 

kdramas that have done this: 

  • The King in Love
  • Reply 1988
  • Scarlet Heart Ryeo
  • Dream High
  • Baker King Kim Tak Goo
  • A Poem A Day
  • Chuno
  • Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter
  • Empress Ki

I don't really know of many dramas from other countries that have done this though, so please recommend! Also, just asking on the off-chance that maybe there's some other old or new kdramas I might've missed that have done this. 

The one drama that pains me that the FL didn't end up with the SML is: School 2015, not sure if I'll ever get over that...

    • Queen seondeok (kor) - though it kinda is hazy at the end cause bidam still died T_T

Story of Yanxi Palace  - She loves another man deeply but later falls for second lead, I don't know if that counts

It's not the greatest drama but it is fun in a goofy sort of way, and pretty much the only time I was genuinely surprised in regards to who was Second Lead in the drama:

The Journey (2017 C-drama)
