Quantcast

I'm still on a drama high after watching Ode to Joy 1 and 2 and experiencing Wang Kai's and Wang Ziwen's sizzling chemistry as Dr. Zhao and Qu Xiao Xiao.

I'm looking for something similar where the male and female leads actually LOOK and ACT like they're in love. I want to see those small glances and sweet touches. I want to see the fun banter. I want those passionate kisses that would make you squeal!

Off the top of my head, here are the dramas that I've already watched which I think have this chemistry I'm looking for:

- Ode to Joy 1
- Ode to Joy 2
- Love Now
- Our Glamorous Time
- Love O2O

Thanks!

Here are some that I could think of! (Also, a lot of cute scenes and kisses!)

Eternal Love of Dream

The Eternal Love

 Love Better Than Immortality

The Princess Wei Young

Intense Love  - Highly suggest!

Unique Lady: Part 1

Thank you SO much for this recommendation! I've just finished watching the first episode of Intense Love and I am HOOKED. It looks like the second couple will be pretty fun to watch too!

Yes! I loved the secondary couple (And this is coming from someone who usually refuses to pay any attention to the side couples aha), they go through a lot together and have a cute romance like the main couple! :)

  • Put Your Head On Your Shoulder - the leads are adorably awkward, but clearly love each other; highly recommend fast forwarding second leads

I think you mostly watch modern dramas, but here are some historical recommendations if you want to try

  • The Love By Hypnotic - lots of kisses; cheesy, but it is a cute watch
  • The Legends - ML adores FL from their first encounter; FL eventually realizes her love for him; great kisses
  • The Sound of Desert - haven't seen this one yet, but I hear it has a great romance with leads who will do everything and go against the odds for each other

Something In The Rain

Just Between Lovers

It's Okay Not To Be Okay

Thanks so much for the recommendations! I'll be sure to check these out. =)

I think the reason I gravitate towards modern dramas is because I (usually) can't stand the slow burn romance that we see in most historicals. I don't want to wait til episode 40 before the male and female leads give us their first kiss. The ones you listed sounds promising though, thank you!

I'm so glad It's Okay That's Love is still getting recommended since it's such a great drama! One of my faves for sure.

Well, I finished it. What a ride! I loved how their relationship progressed. The side couples were pretty fun to watch too! I'm both sad and happy that it was a shorter Chinese drama at only 24 episodes. I wished there was more, but I'm glad I got to see their happily ever after!! Thanks so much for the recommendation! =)

I have taken a look through your completed list and here are some of my recommendations.
