Overbearing nonrighteous ML

Any drama where the ML is overbearing, possessive, and the least of all righteous? 

I just saw a Chinese historical drama where the ML is a prince, but a righteous one who must act according to the laws because whatever, causing the FL to suffer a great deal and it made me go wtf come on dude. 

Any drama were the ML doesn't try to take the moral high stand? 

I'm guessing Chinese and Koreans are too coward to produce such a show, but maybe a Thai?
