Getting real tired of this forgiveness crap in revenge dramas. I mean it's okay I guess for one or two with excruciating circumstances but what the hell is this? 99% revenge drama ends with forgive and forget. Is it a cultural thing? I mean I did like the ending of Big Man. It has a satisfying ending. But all the other revenge dramas that I have watched are the same forgive and forget crap. And Korean/Thai/Chinese, all are guilty of the same thing. Could you guys please suggest me some Modern day Revenge/Romance Drama that do not end with forgiveness? P.S: I am really hoping for a satisfying end for Goddess of Revenge.
If you don't mind an anime recommendation, then I also recommend Gankutsuou.
That's The Count of Monte Cristo adaptation right? Yeah, this Alexandre Dumas masterpiece is pretty much the standard to strive for when it comes to revenge stories.
Lucifer (there is kind of understanding to one of his target (after he made his life real hell), but it is so great the way they made it, I bet you will like it, I also hate all this forgiveness crap, but this is one of best revenge with masterpiece plan)
