• The Legends - Protective but not possessive.
• Arsenal Military Academy - Same leads as the drama above.
• Time - The ML's feelings / choices were awe inspiring in their own way I suppose. Kind of has some similarities with Empress Ki in terms of the trajectory / tone / vibes. Warning: super depressing.  
• Mr. Sunshine - Another tragic one.
• The Untamed - Censored BL (so no heroine), but LWJ still manages to be the epitome of peak awe-inspiring love.
• Misty - The third ML, Myung Woo. Not possessive, but I was definitely awed by his choices / devotion. A little bit like Tal Tal from Empress Ki, but on another level.

• My heart twinkle twinkle (Be warned the male lead is very very grey. He indirectly caused the female lead's father to die. I was unaware of this detail when i started watching the show

• Better days (this is a Chinese movie and was nominated for the Oscars. I didn't expect a love story but maaaan was it beautiful)
• Angel's last mission
• Cheese in the trap (some people wanted the second male lead to end up with the female lead but I was team first lead from start to finish)
• Radio romance (haven't seen this one myself but my sister says it was good)
• The ghost detective
