This ability here, like we have in the forums. It would be VERY useful for reviews on some titles, where we might want to give examples of a trope or theme we're discussing (useful for those who've seen it) but still hide the specifics. Or give additional info on a trigger warning for those who need it. That sort of thing.

The all or nothing method of tagging it Spoiler or not is limiting.

(Edit: I just wrote something which IMO belongs in the Discussions section rather than hidden away in reviews, but it works as an example of how useful this would be in a review as well.)

Omg this! I had to share a review here from Reddit because MDL is so not comfortable 😭 plus on Reddit you have images, even videos and so much formatting

I’ve been asking for this for years!

Especially as the warning doesn't actually hide anything.

If a reviewer puts a major spoiler in the first three lines, it'll be seen by anyone who even just scrolls through the review pages, whether they want to or not.

Happened to me often enought that I now not only avoid the comment section itself but also the review pages before I finished watching a drama. Which puts the value of a review section in question.

For this, the white spoiler hider feature, as mentioned by Elisheva, would be a good solution.

If that's not possible, another option could be to automatically display the content of spoiler-tagged reviews only after 10–15 lines by default.

There are many users who currently leave 10–15 blank lines manually to hide spoilers. If this could be handled by the system itself, it would be a great improvement and much more convenient.
