Yours is limited to airing dramas which i agree with. I want a way to hide the ratings of completed dramas too.( I forgot to add also in my comment above. )

Ahh, yeah I've suggested that one before as well, but people seem very attached to the ratings. This is my compromise pretty much.

I hope this is implemented coz nowadays just based on the cast dramas are rated down by the rival fandom/haters.

I think users should only be able to rate a drama once it has completely finished airing. Technically, not sure how the site can implement this feature but this is my personal preference! Because viewers should rate the show as one final product.

Maybe they can use airing dates and stop people from rating drama before last episode airs.

i dont really agree with this imo,  an option to hide the rating is good for people who dont want to see ratings instead of removing it for airing series, i get it you dont want to see ratings of airing series and that ratings might be biased but i think its up to the person if they want to see or not so an option to hide it is better, some people dont want to take a long time looking at comments and reviews to check what generally people think about the show instead they want to take a quick look at the rating, others want to rate the show as a first impression then eventually adjust their ratings when they watch further eps instead of waiting for the whole show to ends before they rate anything ,some people eventually also drop a show but want to rate it (having to wait until the show ends before coming back to a show they dropped in order to rate it will feel like a waste of time to them), so while this suggestion can be good for people it will ruin the fun for others in the same time, thats why i think hiding the rating of airing shows as an option is better than removing it

I think I'm going to start collecting "whys the rating so low is this bad??" Comments and posting them here.

I totally agree with this. These days fans and antis are manipulating MDL Rating too much that It's either too inflated or too low which totally is contradictory to the actual drama.not to even mention a recent incident i personally witnessed that ''boosted " an ongoing drama rating by creating hundreds of new accounts..Rating should be published once a drama completes airing. Is your thread noticed by admins?  How to inform them? I sometimes wonder why mdl moderators are always not so concerned about the recent hate bombing of reviews, downvoting, rating inflations and dropping when a drama is still airing. The comment section is enough to get ideas about how a show is going on,and watcher numbers are an indicators too,why publishing the rating when a drama is only on ep 2/3/4!!

Rate a drama must be accepted only after a robot check from cloudflare or google or yandex. It is easy to implement it.

This should mitigate the number of bot ratings. I vote for this option.

This is also a good idea. Let's keep episode ratings and publish the overall rating only after the ending of the drama.

So how do we get this done or get MDL to notice this problem (they probably already do they just don't care until we make it a known problem). Do we send a petition?

It is indeed super annoying to see the comment section polluted by ratings vigilantes often deranged and boringly repetitive rants about the rating. I think it makes sense to only open the rating while airing after either over say 200 watchers (or some other reasonable number or percent of watchers) have rated it OR on the day the finale is airing (in case there aren't enough views).

This feels a bit contradictory… people get upset when a great drama has low ratings, but stay quiet when a weak one gets praised. At the end of the day, a truly good show will prove itself if not here, it’ll find recognition somewhere else.

if the issue is the impact of 'bad actors'  then it should be handled by using the methods for that, like cloudflare, weeding out dormant accounts, connections from ip's etc., there's no criteria to rank a show and not many people are qualified to be able to do so on all points even if there was.  so it's not like a score becomes more meaningful after a drama is finished.

i agree a lot with what LueurArcane said: if someone gets through x number of episodes, drops it and gives an low overall score. as far this person is concerned this drama is finished and i think it's a valid contribution. if i look at stats and yesterday there were 4 people in "dropped" status and today it's 24, i'd take it as a hint, same for score change. so i actually want to see it.

there could be a user profile settings something like "hide score of shows on air" and if it's set it would be hidden just for you. of course if someone starts discussing score changes in comments ... i dont know report it as a spoiler?

I agree. I propose one further step that MDL should implement, which is to necessitate every registered account to have a mobile number, and only one mobile number per registered account. Several of us have witnessed and experienced troll sock-puppet accounts purposely plaguing a drama page and harassing users, plus the drama during airing got attacked to bring down the ratings sharply twice, the "Whispers of Fate" page suffering all of this. "Dream of Golden Years" already suffered twice from  account attacks just because of ratings.

"Rate a drama must be accepted only after a robot check from cloudflare or google or yandex. It is easy to implement it." + registered account with a mobile number would be best, IMHO.

every registered account to have a mobile number

it's not going to help much because sim cards are not expensive and often free. and well there are plenty of people wouldn't give out their mobile number to every site that asks for it. i wouldn't. and there would be additional cost to verify it anyway.
