to find more shows one likes and maximize the potential of mdl's network, it would be really helpful to have an option, where i can search for members (not just friends, as one might actually not have a friends base to begin with) with similar ratings on my fav shows, preferably prioritized by overlapping most similar rated shows to least. can be a filter or extra search option.
that way i can much easier check other's lists for new, similar rated shows, choose to follow like minded members, or even ask to connect and make friends who align most with my interests/tastes.
atm i (frustratingly) do so either by checking out recommendations, which are often either limited or not really reliebale as people add some shows just because of the aligning cast, not premise, writing or style.
or i track reviews on my fav shows with similar rating, manually check those members' watchlist, sort by ratings and mostly find myself dissapointed to find out, it was just that this one show that aligned in taste.
it's highly inefficient and frustrating like that. but might also be, that i am not aware of a function like that. if there is one, please point me towards it. i would really like to find shows easier, that are to my liking and actually connect to people over that. i thought this is what this platform is all about.
