Two sections for Alternate Names - one for genuine alternate names (including variant Romanisations used by official sources), and another for mistakes & wonky Romanisations used only by one site.
These example may confuse more than explain but I'll leave them anyway.
Like Drake Laedeke's AKAs include Dreke - because the production company misspelled Drake in the opening credits of his first series and didn't get it fixed for several episodes. Entirely a mistake, may be worth keeping on the page because some viewers would have been spelling it that way for a month, but it's not a genuine AKA.
Director Aof Noppharnach's AKAs include Backaof - which comes from his IG handle. MAYBE it's an actual nickname. but from what I've learned of Thai names, it seems more like it's just a pun to make a unique social media handle. Especially given his age. Twenty-somethings, maybe. Forty-somethings, probably not. I was reminded of this a week or so ago when I saw an article from someone repeatedly referring to him as Backaof.
I just made a submission for a new Thai actor and took the time to understand what's the standard Romanisation of his family name (Jumparnin), the one used by multiple sources and everything official (although sometimes hidden, ie not visible on the page but it shows up in web search). The production company mostly uses Poom Nitipoom (Thai nickname + given name). So clearly that needs to be an AKA.
But AKA is also the only place to note a Romanisation variant used by a single site - Jumpanin. Putting an official, important AKA (Poom Nitipoom) in with a very unofficial fansite anomaly flattens that distinction. I think it's worth making it clear. Two types of AKAs would do that.
