Option to add Generative AI label for dramas and movies

I actually agree with showing GenAI label upfront instead of showing it alongside the sea of tags. Yes they can remain to work as tag (so it is filterable in search), but maybe Dev can bring it to the Details section (just like the mock up in first post) by flagging this tag whenever it is exist or something?

I didn't know we have animations on MDL. Maybe it's just this one movie?

Anyway, if there are real animations, I have to say, I wouldn't put Gen-AI stuff under this category because eventually we'll see too much content under this category.

Anyway, like I said, it doesn't really matter if people won't edit the pages and add the AI label. We'll see in the long term how this will turn out.

There are few more like Spirited Away and Ne Zha, but not that many yet.

There are also Anime in MDL but this feature is currently hidden. You still can type in the title in search bar though if it is popular enough.

Yes I totally agree with this! Using Advance Search to find things you don't want to watch is kind of counter productive lol.

Just FYI: Admins said the few up are an experiment for testing purposes (testing things here instead of making a whole new site when much of the infrastructure is already here) and if they ever do make a full database of animated titles or even just titles with cast members that are typically in live action works (versus the abundance of voice actors who are solely voice actors), it will be completely separate. It’d take me quite a while to find the feed post, but Ji-N or Yuanwei would be able to with less work since they’re one of the two owners and a long-time mod, respectively.

Yes I remember when they told about a possible dedicated place for anime but with different subdomain like how the article is right now. Still no update from that point though.

Okay, I added the AI tag for every Kdrama where I saw AI in the credits or an obvious scene.

So far it's 15 dramas. If you know other dramas, just let me know in the comments under my list.
