Yeah, it’s a pretty basic usability norm to hide features that aren’t operational, but it may just be inexperience on the part of the UI person.

This is definitely a must have and something we really want to implement as well.

You have the number of followers and likes listed under the actors but only a way to like them and not any way to follow them.
