Yeah in general is a Web thing. Like if I don’t like a drama for whatever reason I don’t go to anyone’s comments who say is the best drama to impose my opinion or why I think they are wrong. But if I go and say I didn’t enjoy this drama because the plot was slow I don’t just get a mature reply but literally get a go unalive yourself. And by simply seeing the type of users who go on each comment who said they didn’t like the drama and they go and defend it, you know is someone you want to block because the next one is you.  Or the typical who set a riot telling people to block a user because they don’t like their favorite actor. 

Yeah had my fair share of those. Was called dumb for not understanding a plot (there was nothing to understand cause it was badly written and lacked logic) and a bitc*. I no longer write comments under hyped dramas and stay away from toxic fandoms. That was a choice to stay away from toxic users, but of course it limits my use of MDL and that shouldn't be the way to go. Rude and toxic users should not be tolerated on any site.

Imo we shouldn't have to avoid comments sections or be playing musical block lists. We should be able to curate our experience on this site as we see fit. The fact that we can't means that my engagement with the site goes down.

I agree, we aren’t protected. I remember seeing a forum post that a girl wanted some person out of here because  in her words she was speaking ill of a drama. Well the comment section became full of people sending profiles of people they wanted out of here.  An admin said we can’t kick out people for their opinion which I totally agree. but when it comes to harassing? can we protect ourselves by blocking them. So we need a limitless amount of blocks. Too many immature people here.  Too many cray cray fanatics.  I don’t understand why they (crazy fans) try to silent us when we don’t agree with them. The typical well don’t watch the drama, well you ain’t my momma and I will continue watching and I will write a sincere review hahaa I’m a mature woman that isn’t easily pleased with any drama I’m a hard critic, after 1000 dramas watch is hard to impress me.

Yes I hope admins do something about the DM situation and exactly how you said we could control who can dm us, that we have the choice. 

We need more people like you and me  here hehhehe I will accept that I had bump in with mature people who would in a constructive way say they did love what I didn’t and at the end we just agreed with each other point of view even if we didn’t love that drama the same way. But bumping into people like that is like finding a gem under the ocean. And again we aren’t trying to silent anyone we just also want the freedom to review how we want without fear.

That's the kind of discussion I value. It's okay to have different point of views and preferences. The key is respect. I found some great friends here and with them it's like a great community. I would pay for the option of blocking more people. As Ivy says, it's dreary to choose between degrees of rudeness (trying to remember was this user more rude and impossible than this user). Degrees of subscriber benefits would be attractive to me.

I don't mean to argue with your willingness to pay for this, but from my point of view it shouldn't be something users have to pay for in the first place. Rudeness that turn into verbal attacks or uncivilized behavior shouldn't be tolerated by site owners and it's a moderators job to deal with this. I never heard of a site that requires payment for dealing with problematic people and I seriously hope that will never be the case. Personally I wouldn't pay a cent for a bigger blocking list option, because I consider it my right to protect myself from toxic people. 

Sadly nothing has changed and I did see they did like a header on top of the comments that’s be respectful and stuff but just yesterday I read malicious comments in that Kdrama Crushology 101:

I reported that person comments and they are still there. So admins aren’t doing much about. and this is a person I never want to bump in and my block list is full. So when will admins take actions and make the block list unlimited:  Admins say we don’t just want to remove/block profiles because they have different point of views which I agree. But this is insulting someone not sharing a point of view, we can all have a healthy discussion without being vulgar or just plain oh mean. Also just by clicking on the profile we will know is a profile someone made to be mean because it was made days ago, no personalization on the profile and no more than one drama watched. Admins should know this are fake profiles.
