How do we use stats on profile?

Like I've said in my original post the stats can be used  for self control & awareness (I mean for those who have trouble controlling how much dramas and movies they consume) / curiosity , knowing your tastes better. It's also a way to show your tastes to other people if you want to.  But I understand that  not everyone is interested in such things.
