I originally posted this in the Community Tasks section as I think it was more appropriate there, but there is no activity, no response from any staff, so I'm trying my chance here too.
Lately it seems it takes more and more time for edits and new titles/actors additions to be reviewed. I have submitted some edits weeks ago now (an example: an edit submitted to update a title more than a month ago), but they are neither accepted or rejected and nothing changed, so I'm wondering what's happening.
Is it because there is a shortage of staff ?
Could you please make an announcement about it ?
That would be nice to have a board or something where we can know the average time to wait for edits to be reviewed, or better, to have a personal page were we can see and follow the status of edits submitted, because currently once an edit is made, if you don't track it personally in some way, there is no way to know what or when it was done. And between this and the extra time needed currently for edits to be reviewed, of course more and more edits will be submitted for the same things, adding even more unnecessary work for the staff, which seems to be a vicious circle for me.
