Weird. Same thing happens to me. Not that I replied to that forum, but I do follow it.
For some reason on the url for page 53, you see the results for page 53 (as you should), but when you change the end of the url to page 54, page 54's results pop up but it still shows it's on page 53 (the highlighted page number).
For example, changing this to this.
?p=3248494&page=53
?p=3248494&page=54
