Rejection Ratio

So if we mess up and our rejection ratio is too high, how do we rectify that so that we're able to contribute in the future? To be clear, I really didn't know how to use this website well at first so i didn't know there was a whole FAQ page with submission/edit guidelines. I just wanna know how to fix it because I know how to properly add stuff now and I saved the FAQ page. pls help.
