At the end of Episode 7, our heroes appear to be stranded in the Valley of the Damned after the door,shut. How did Lee Yeon and Lee Rang escape?  In Elisode 8, they are back at home...

When Rang came to rescue Yeon, he brought the black cat with him.  As the old woman told them earlier n the episode, she was able to escape by following Ttotto, her family's cat.  So Rang and Yeon escaped by following the cat.
