Well, I finished  Jao Sao Ban Rai (2006) last night with Por and Namfon.  I gave it a 7 because I love Por.  I admit to having to put it on hold because of the FL's character. I think the director and screenwriter went off track, but Por and Namfon gave them what they wanted.  I wish all of Por's lakorns were English subbed. Watching him is bittersweet and I have so few that I space them out.

Lah Tah Chon - Action.

Nuer Nai - gritty soap-opera.

Talay Luang - Was okay.

Lady Bancham - Nice story. Good cast.

Mae Ai Sae Eun - bittersweet melodrama.

I didn't sleep much since last Thursday. lol

The last four are now airing: Game of Outlaws, Unhappy Birthday. Krachao Seeda Season 2, and Irresistible.

I just finished Keun Ruk Salub Chata, I had originally chosen it because I wanted to give Bua and Krating a chance after Praomook. But the fact that it's in @Brownie's top 2 for 2021 convinced me a bit more.


Bottom line: 

- I don't find the story transcendent but it's easy to watch. There's no unnecessary drama, there's no slap/kiss, I find the story very romantic.
- In my opinion, the supporting characters are not accomplished , the writing is too cartoonish and the villains ultimately lack personality.
- I like the development the screenwriter proposed for the couples.


Do I recommend it? Yes

To me the synopsis sounded good so I put it on my watchlist. I'm not sure if I'll get to it within this year as I'm currently struggling to find a drama that captivates me and fear it's my mood who's just not cooperative but then I'll just watch it for next year's Thai Watch Challenge. ^^

Thai is wonderful, but maybe a country change might help, If you haven't seen it - Might I suggest; "Khaani" a Pakistani drama. The original is in Urdu. Based on a true story. It is near perfection.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I fear the country is not the problem. It's the down I usually experience after I completed a drama that was a 10 for me and then having dramas that just don't reach up to this. ^^

Girl Next Room: Midnight Fantasy 

  • I chose this one mainly to see Singto. He is one of my fav Thai actor. 
  • The drama isn't original but it easy  to watch and very short.

finished - Krachao Seeda Season 2 (2021)

It was one drama until split because of covid shutting it down. If you haven't - watch both seasons 1 & 2 as one drama. First season is near perfection, if we hadn't have had to wait for season 2 the ratings might be stronger. Predicting, a slightly lowrer rating on season 2. Recommended.

I'm currently watching  the Korean version so this one will probably be for the 2022 challenge. But do True4U only do remakes?
