omg thank you so much! I now can remove Cooking Crush from my list and add something I'm actually into, both as reading hobby and maybe even as series (don't know yet).

You can also just watch whatever grabs your interest, see where it fits in and leave it to later in the year to finish off blocks. Don't put yourself through series you're not interested in for the sake of a prompt. Use them to find titles you are interested in but wouldn't have come onto your radar otherwise.

@Florentina, also browse through other people's lists, including previous years. I know I pinched a few ideas from Anusaya last year :)

Have you seen the Club's custom lists with titles for different things like traditional dress, geography, etc? We can make more if there's a need and interest. Hobbies are so personal, but maybe for common ones? I really struggled with that prompt last year - my options are limited because chronic illness and my main hobby is Thai telly. I need a series where someone's hobby is seeking out Mae Nak adaptations ;D

Well, it's not like anyone can control that but try to choose a hobby that you actually do often and like and not just randomly anything as it would defy the purpose of the challenge. I'd say, you could bend it a bit by saying enjoying delicious food is a hobby and you watch something where cooking is the main topic. If you have any questions feel free to ask. 

Oh and the Thai Watch Challenge is done every year, so you can participate next year again if you want to. :)

Most series with someone who loves cooking also have someone who loves eating.

Yeah, that's what I tried to imply, because the food that has been cooked is usually eaten by someone, in romance dramas it can even be part of the relationship, like one cooks for the other. xD 

Forgot to add - can we have Thai PBS added to the options for Channels please? Free to stream, good to excellent programming with more and more subbed in English.  Bilboa maintains a useful list too.

Looking for recs on award-winning screenwriter. I've lucked into a couple for the category through the efficient means of thinking, "This is really well done. It must have won something" :D :D :D (Love of Siam, Game Prattana)

Would anyone be interested in a Thai supernatural/paranormal/horror mini-challenge for next year? (As a companion to the TDC Watch Challenge of course, not a replacement.) It's been interesting to mull over possible categories - regions, years, genres, themes, and how Nang Nak adaptations, Big House settings and Oppressive School with Strange Things Happening are their own sub-genres.

There's a lot of Thai supernatural which isn't scary so it would be possible to do it while avoiding gore and typical Horror. And we could work together to suggest titles and sources for older movies. I'll start a thread to see if it gets interest from others too.

If I'll have the time and my mood is going along too I would be interested to do that mini-challenge. <3
