Miss the Dragon - the CGI/effects aren't great, but the story is pretty good. I am a fan of Dylan Wang and this isn't his best role (I think his acting is fine, but he has to spend a lot of time watching and waiting here). So what is really great in Miss the Dragon are the second leads and the hilarious bird spirit lady.

Footprints of Change 7.7 has fast rising actor Cheng Lei and pretty actress Lin Yun in the first arc and elegant veteran actress Tong Yao and mystery drama specialist Liu Yi Jun in the second arc. Yet only 17.3% of 3,403 watchers completed it. Republican drama never be mdl members' popular choice.

Northward 8.4 has popular actress Bai Lu and patriotic title specialist Ou Hao + rising star Zhai Zi Lu and various veteran actors and actress as the older generation yet the number who completed the drama on mdl was 24.5% of 7,464 watchers. Most Chinese slice of life and human drama got pretty much the same number or lesser than that if the actors were less popular.

Ripe Town 8.1 has CCTV favorite safe choice actor Bai Yu Fan with Ning Li and Zeng Li who's pretty much everywhere yet only 25.6% of 3,598 watchers completed it. Mystery or detective drama with no romance, no bromance, not a BL adaptation usually has less watchers here on mdl.

I think there's many underrated comedy dramas non romance such as Born with Luck 7.6 with Lawrence Wang who just received a prestigious award (too lazy to search) for best supporting actor (for a movie-probably Liu Hao Ran's Dead to Rights) like last month (maybe) and Tian Xi Wei who's in her peak of her popularity (I'm not a fan but I will watch her drama if it's interesting. Her upcoming drama Where the Mask Ends which rumored to be released this month looks really good). And No Pain No Gain 8.3 which has two funny actors; Peng Yu Chang and Chang Long + so many familiar faces that seems familiar but I can't remember most of them. There's also two pretty actresses; Lin Yun and He Rui Xian.

Maybe you want to check those five titles.
