If the group purpose is to discuss movies or dramas, we have no issue with it.

I was wondering whether topics like cultural similarities or differences—and, more broadly, discussions outside of movies and dramas, such as "Read Along: Complete the Qur'an Together"—are also considered inappropriate for groups. I'm just trying to better understand where the boundaries are so we can follow the guidelines correctly.

Good to know this group is back! Maybe the group admins can delete the other one and keep the original (this one)?

Anyway MDL shouldn't deny the fact that most Muslim Countries are in Asia (if they want to keep their brand as Asian Drama Database).

At the moment, the countries that are hosted on MDL just happened to be non-Muslim and lesser-Muslim. If they are going to expand the database in the future, they can't run away from adding Muslim countries.

Just for the Fun Fact though:

China has 25 Millions of Muslim population. They just do not appear on C-Drama.

Southern Thailand is mostly Muslim populated.

Some parts of Southern Philippine are Muslim populated.

15% of Singapore population are Muslim.

Just to list down the countries we already have in MDL.
