Haha if you're referring to scenery and nature then maybe it is slightly close (especially with Okinawa). We also have many Japanese expatriate with some Japanese-esque shopping attraction. But when it comes to attitude and discipline, Malaysian are still behind in many aspects not only to Japan but maybe to many other developed countries. I'm happy that you have such high perception about our country though!

That's a fair point. I think acknowledging both the positives and the shortcomings is the most balanced way to look at any country.
